It was proclaimed a national park in 1985 and it is the seventh national park in Croatia. Krka waterfalls
Krka National Park is situated in the center of Dalmatia and about 10km inland from town Sibenik. Named after the Krka river, the park covers an area of just over 142 square km and includes two thirds of the Krka river. The main sight in the national park are its magnificent waterfalls, including the famous waterfalls of Skradinski Buk which are one of the most famous natural attractions in Croatia.
Departure from Dubrovnik starts early in the morning. and ride National park Krka will last approximately 4 hours. We will drive over Adriatic road until we reach town Ploce where we will join A1 highway and continue towards National park Krka. Along the way we will stop to take a rest from ride.Estimated time of arrival to our first place of is around 11 in the morning.
Entrance in Skradin :
For experience top natural wanders(waterfalls) and attractions (lakes) in National Park you can enter in Skradin and take boat ride from Skradin to Skradinski buk waterfall, Visovac Lake ,Roski waterfall and than Lozovac. You can choose professionall tour guide in National Park Krka or do park tour on your own.
Boats departs every full hour (from 08:00), and return from National park at half hours (last boat is around 17:30).
