Description

Međugorje is one of most visited tourist destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Religious tourism in Međugorje began developing after the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, occurring for the first time in 1981. Međugorje managed to retain its original charm of a shrine where the pilgrims really find peace in faith and conversation with God.
At the top of the hill Križevac there is a cross, built in 1933 for the 1900th anniversary of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The center of pilgrim gathering is in the Shrine of the Queen of Peace, how Međugorje is officially called.
After visiting Međugorje, many have experienced their own miracle healing or life changes. They say that the moment you step onto the soil of Međugorje you will feel an attraction to this place, the positive energy that the whole area, its inhabitants and visitors radiate with. Upon returning home, you will feel as if you really were a step closer to God.

Mostar, the town that lies on the river Neretva, is the economic, cultural, university, transport and tourist center of Herzegovina. The town was built around the old bridge, dating from 1566, near the former suspension bridge. The bridge is the main symbol of Mostar, one could say – its beating heart for centuries. The poet and Nobel Prize winner Ivo Andrić wrote “… From everything a man erects and builds in his life, in my eyes nothing is better and more valuable than bridges. They are more important than houses, more holy, more general than the temples. They belong and are equal to everyone, useful, always built with a purpose, in the place where the largest number of human needs intersects, more persistent than other buildings and do not serve anything that is secret or evil. ”
A walk through Mostar is actually a walk through time. In this town, the traces of the past are visible at every step. They are situated next to each other, leaning on each other, intertwined in a strange and remarkable symbiosis of incredible elements. Apart from the bridge, there is a Kriva Ćuprija (Crooked Bridge), the towers Tara and Halebija from the 17th century, the Sahat tower and the recent attraction from 2005 – a statue of Bruce Lee.
